Proper Photo Orientation: Landscape vs. Portrait

Here's a tip to ensure you're getting the best photos possible for our clients:

In most cases it is best to take pictures in landscape mode versus portrait mode.

Why is this important?

After you've submitted your photos to WeGoLook through our mobile app or 'BOX' uploads, they get delivered straight to our Quality Assurance Team. QA is responsible for viewing every photo and making sure it meets the high standards of our clients. Taking photos in portrait often crops out important details, and can minimize the quality of the photo.

See the examples below of Portrait (vertical) vs. Landscape (horizontal)

As you can see, portrait photos can seriously diminish the quality of the photo and may result in multiple trips to get all the information needed. Make sure you're taking your photos in landscape to prevent this from happening.

There may be times when it is best to capture a photo in portrait mode. Please be sure to use your best judgement to determine which mode to capture the best photo in.
